Paraje
Atajo Guest House is centrally located in Northern
New Mexico. Within a short distance you can visit
ancient Indian sites at Bandelier National Monument
and Puye Cliffs or experience Pueblo ceremonials at
the Eight Indian Pueblos. Explore
the white water rapids of the Rio Grande and Chama
or hike in the wilderness of Jemez
Mountains. Santa
Fe opens up a palette of museums, galleries, shops
and restaurants to explore. Drive
to the Ojo Caliente to soak in the mountain hot
springs. Relax on the portal of the Paraje
Artajo Guest House and identify the colony of 5
varieties of hummingbirds is an
adventure.
Arrangements can be made for guided tours to Santa Fe's museums, art galleries, and cultural and historic sites. Guided hikes with a load-carrying burro companion (their names are Freighter and Amiga) to explore the beauty and ancient pueblo land of Northern New Mexico's backcounty can be also be arranged.

Guided tours or hikes need to be reserved in advance. A 50% deposit is needed to reserve guided tours. Mention you are interested in the guided daytrips on the Reservation Date Availability Form.
